OK, post made it. Anyway, i made a mistake..my MMA was in 2001. LAUP in 1993. So yes, Im near done career wise, but keep putting off disability. I will be in calamity if wife ever leaves..its hard for people to understand constant tiredness. RE-Closed throat. for me its not any problem while awake, except just before falling to sleep, i have to think to keep it open. And, as mentioned, if im getting a messsage, i really have to keep it forced open, so i just cant believe this is natural. A recent poster here said something about Dr's finding the occlusion in the pharynx, i think it was pharynsx. I wish i had notated which post it was, but it was forum 24. The fact that i can pull my lower jaw forward and mimic sleep, and throat doesnt close off near as much caused me to buy the mouth piece thing on tv. It does work, but hurts my teeth too much. I was dreaming within 45 minutes! Unheard of for me. But woke up after 2 hours with alertness, but not rested. That is a common complaint with recent succesful MMA people! So basically, that device gives me proof that my throat will open with lower mandible advancement. So im not sure how similear you are to me. I was even tired as a teen. It was always me who begged for "just 30 more minutes of sleep" when going and doing the same things on a trip with freinds. Now, if i spend the night at a freinds house having done the same activities as them, they always wake ready to go, and i need 3 days to recoup. I have been seen and mocked up by Dr LW at Baylor. He has a strategy for my voice, and another MMA is indicated..I am scared to death AND i will have to pay him cash as Blue Cross/Double Cross wont pay an out of network doc. I hope i covered your questions..its interesting you have the large tongue too.. BTW, are you very nearsighted?
