Yes, our education system is government run. In my town, the 'public' schools are so bad that there is a giant private school system and home school community. It costs money, yet we are forced to also pay for the public system. The left will not let us have vouchers to spend our own money because the teachers unions all vote for them.

Just out of curiosity, is it illegal to home school in Canada?
