MMA has a very good track record for working for a long time, normally forever. If anyone has data to the contrary, I'd like to hear it.

Here's one thing that's very important - nasal passages can swell for various reasons and give us apneas. I had this also right after MMA and it scared me, but in my case it was exposure to spray paint. In fact, it made my apnea as bad as it was pre-surgery.

Shelby says there were fires out in CA recently that gave a lot of people airway problems. You might investigate that idea. For this problem I use Mucinex which thins the mucus and it improves my sleep whenever I'm exposed to junk in the air.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to check with your doc and if it persists, even get a new study.
