Gosh, sounds exactly like my experience.
I even went to a big wig ent in Dallas that cost me $500 for one visit. He did a lot of looking and probing and said something like: "Yeah, something aint right in your airway, hmmm, not sure what to tell ya".

A big problem in sleep medicine is treatment bias. Some sleep docs are biased towards cpap and non-surgical methods. After my uvulectomy, I had one sleep doc just shake his head in disgust that I had had any type of surgery.

So, my suggestion still stands, keep at it.
