My botched mma was performed in 1999. 3 weeks after I remember going to a general doc due to strong pain in upper mandible and a clear fluid (small amount) had come from a nostril. Well, out of the blue, without any trauma or logical trigger, Ive got strong pain in upper left mandible. It is about 3/4 the pain of an absessed tooth when there is pus from it. On Friday, a dentist said it was a physician i should see, and a physician said i needed a dentist. So i am about to run out of old pain meds i had saved from earlier dental work. The pain is under the cheek bone..if i reach into area above top teeth , it is very sore, especially if I touch this tang that is there. I notice that that is the area of a wire loop in post op xray. The 3 week post op event just abated on its own...never knew what happpend. But this is alarming 10 years later. I also have had sore spots on tori where there are like pin head spots that poke out on outer gums. Not pushing thru, but very pointy spots. I dont recall having those sharp spots before the mma. This would have to be infection and on this 3rd day, my bottom teeth are starting to hurt too. Only change in routine was some time in ocean water...it was 4 days later that the pain set in so..? I think ill be in an ER before Sunday is done..pain is going from level 3 to 4 at times.
