Posted by Glassart on June 26, 2010 at 17:58:39:8 weeks ago i had a uppp and base tongue reduction surgery. immediatly after
the surgery I've experienced severely worsening of my sleep apnea. Currently
I have constant pain in my throat...feels like something is stuck in the
back of my throat at all times. my throat is very dry and I am having
difficulty swallowing and speaking. I can only sleep 1-2 hours at a time and
am currently on disability leave from my job. I have an auto titrating cpap
machine now that is not woking. sceduled for a sleep study in a week and a
half. I wish I would have researched this before I made this mistake. My
friend had this done and he has been telling me how great his life is now
with good sleep and no cpap machine. I went to the same ENT that did his
surgery and I guess I just expected it would work or I would at least be
better off. Seriously considering suicide now..My life has been destroyed
