Thank you all for your comments. After speaking with my doctor, I've learned that RDI isn't the best measure of sleep quality. Everyone's brain reacts differently to respiratory events - some people are more sensitive than others. I've already sleeping much better since the surgery and I'm only 7 months post-op. It usually takes a year or longer for max results. I just was worried that my RDI was the same.
