Biam, please continue to post on your progress. You are very brave in experimenting on yourself. Wish you luck and hoping that something will click. Thanks for sharing all your experiences. I agree with you that work stress seems to have quite a bit to do with it as well, though I always thought that I handled stress pretty well.
It is interesting to note that in the last year, NONE of the people I have been following who had MMA reported a completely cure. Most have reported a significant improvement with out or without RDI improvement. My RDI has been cut in half, from 31 to 16. I feel significantly improved on some days and not so much on the others.
One of the biggest wildcards seems to be my swollen turbinates. I had been previously treated with RF turbinectomy (twice), the doc also removed the bone behind my turbinates during the MMA. Since then I have been treating it with Flonase (though not regularly). The soft tissue out there is pretty stubborn because it keeps flaring back up ... apparently this is quite common. The doc now prescribed me a lavage made out of "Pulmicort respules". This seems to have made a significant reduction in the Turbinate not to mention the fact that I feel so much better.
