Thanks... It wasn't as bad as I expected. Went off the prescription pain killers (Hydrocodone) 5 days after surgery, switching to children's liquid tylenol for a few days and then nothing.

Finished the antibiotics 10 days post op and now, two weeks post-op today, feeling MUCH better and sleeping better.

Will have to schedule a follow up sleep study in a month or so, but I'm sleeping through the night now -- no idea if I have apneas or hypopnias, but I go to sleep and don't wake up until the morning (wasn't doing that for the last few months).

Since I had *huge* tonsils (both the standard ones and the lingual tonsils) and the Dr said that my soft palette was also VERY large, I am hoping the results will be as good as I feel.
