TMJ after MMA

Although I initially had tightness of the mandible following MMA, about 3 months out I still had almost no lateral movement and could only open my incisors 25mm and have started to have pops frequenly when opening my mouth.
I went to my surgeon in Dallas approx 1 yr. postop and he told me my disc have displaced posteriorly and now I need another surgery to relocate them in the proper position and also have my lower jaw broken again to position it correctly after the TMJ discs are repositioned. Has anyone had an experience like this they would like to share?
