Hi Marie

It sounds like you have a good Doctor that knows that UARS varies incredibly from patient to patient.Stanford is also the "Gold Standard" Hospital as far as testing,and treating UARS is concerned!

It has been a long hall for me going back to the Mid 90s,and surgery was of little help too me.Im now using a Auto Pap.I would to soon find a good Bipap on Criagslist! I was interested in why Staford Doctor recommended you get a Auto-Bipap. I've read a lot of Blogs that say you should use a non Auto Bipap for UARS! Anyway its funny but I've been considering trying a Auto Bipap for quite awhile,and I think if it does not work in the Auto Mode.I can also set it up to straight Bipap!
