It's been about 19 months since that fateful day at Stanford... Soon, I hope to count the passage of time in years, not months. With my kids, 24 months became 2 years. But I digress...

Recently, I experienced pain when biting into a very soft food. The pain was localized above my back teeth, where I believe the titanium plates have been placed on the upper jaw. With my limited knowledge, I'm guessing it's:

a) cracked tooth (although the tooth below the pain has a crown)
b) root canal candidate/bite problem
c) related to bracket

Has anyone had similar experiences, and if so, what was the resolution/outcome?
