I had a few thoughts, but I am not a vet of the surgery. Bootcamp week after next.

I have issues with the legs and arms flailing about and pain from idiopathic neuropathy which I sincerely hope are tied to all the years without proper sleep and oxygen. To call it restless leg sounds like a gross understantement. I do it so badly that I get lower back spasms the LONGER I stay in bed. From what I have read, I do not believe that the brain will rewire in four weeks. Neurolgical issues may take longer to repair.

The other is an area that people tend to ignore, but I am a strong believer in - Sleep hygiene. Any light or noise from a background television is proven to disrupt your brain's ability to believe it should be sleeping. I think I may have finally convinced my wife of this, who has frequent insomnia. Sometimes, I just wake up and tell her it needs to be shut off, or I am going to be a wreck the next day. Also, we put up light blocking shades due to the neighbors security lights. I find that even a light from the bathroom in the hall will wake me. I gave my insomniac wife a set of those soft eye shades that I was given on a long plane trip. It made a believer out of her (and Doctor Oz repeated the importance of sleep hygiene). So now, for her, it is just to remind her to shut it all down and go to sleep. These old habits die hard. None of this may be the case with you, but I think it is worth a look. Even a bedside clock with strong LED has been shown to disrupt sleep. This is why folks were so angry about the CPAP machine a few years back with silly bright blue LED that you could not shut off.

Hope it helps. Also, I really appreciate your postings. It sounded better a week ago. This may be just a short term setback. I remember that Roger wrote about a significant setback weeks further out than you, and was able to finally pin it down to irritation from a painting project.
