This is interesting Sandman. I had not heard of it and had to google, but it makes sense. I was not sure if Marie was certain that it was REM rebound or not, but if things are getting better, it looks like a plausible theory.

I am one of those who has been pretty much robbed of N3 or slow wave sleep even on cpap when it works. It will be interesting to see how I respond after surgery and recovery. There is not much that could be called dreaming going on with me, unless you count the choking nightmares where I wake in terror that I have some large object sliding down my throat and blocking breathing... Those happen nearly every night.

Again, thanks for maintaining this and all those who participate.
