It was a good 3 months between the date I scheduled my surgery and my actual surgery date ( due to my schedule). I can honestly tell you that the mma surgery was THE most important thing on my mind for those 3 months. I prayed everyday that nothing would happen to my surgeon. I read and re-read every post on this forum and every mma blog. I was an obsessed maniac. Now that it's been 1 years, 4 months after my surgery and it doesn't even register anymore. I suggest you channel your pre-surgery anxiety by preparing for the big day but I now it is very difficult when you need to focus at your job and at school. The anxiety is mentally taxing.
