Chaos -

I was in your boat. AHI of around 50, but beeing managed
OK to around 5-15 with CPAP and mouth taping.

Although I may have been a non-traditional candidate, the
potential benefits are worth it: lifting the crppeling brain fog,
traveling without CPAP, staying over with friends, the
occasional spooning, and camping - in general, just beiing
unplugged from the wall. Don't let people talk you out of it
based on some sort of rationing/degree of suffering argument
- only you know and can make the decision. It really isn't that
bad, just a bit of swelling and a few weeks on the couch.

Let me know if you want to talk this through in an email or
over the phone. I only have the one perspective, but I'd be
more than happy to share it.

Erik
