Congratulations on being on the other side! The first week post MMA was the most painful for me. I was first prescribed vicodin but it wasn't strong enough so they put me on oxycontin. I mostly slept a bunch and did some light walking. Don't worry about your caloric intake - I think I lost about 10 pounds overall and then gained most of it back. I lost my appetite after too many soups and smoothies - magic bullet blender is a good idea. I also administered the food through ketchup squeeze bottles and hair dye bottles (purchased from Sally's beauty supply). Your bands will be loosened by your doc after 10 days so you won't need the syringe plunger anymore and can start drinking thicker foods.
