Have you checked the "Ask A Sleep Surgeon" column by Dr. Kasey Li on this website. He answers a lot of questions on sleep apnea surgery including the MMA. He is a sleep apnea surgery expert. Also, check out his past posting on this message board. I believe he posts under "sleepsurgeon" I HIGHLY recommend visiting him for a consultation before you proceed with the MMA surgery. He is located in East Palo Alto, CA. He also a website. You can e-mail him too. It cannot be done by just anybody as the MMA advances the jaw much more than regular jaw surgery. I've read too many horror stories about people getting the MMA done by less experienced surgeons. Please research this most thoroughly.
