I don't know what the difference is or might be, but I picked my surgeon at Stanford because their focus and goal is to solve my apnea. Looks are secondary.

I'm sure it's not as straightforward as just "move 10mm". When they get in there, there are all sorts of surprises such as bone thickness, etc. I want a surgeon who is thinking about my airway when all that happens. But that's just me.

How I look is semi important, but wwwwaaaay secondary. I don't want to end up still having apnea and hear the surgeon use the asthetics defense.
