Thanks. The surgeon at Mayo didn't seem to know how many MMA's he'd done and later guessed at 60. The Mayo sleep doctor said it was more like 90.

My policy specifically excludes "orthognathic surgery" but I have yet to get a specific definition from them. I'm guessing there is a state insurance board that I can appeal to if Medica digs in it's heels.

I think my driving is suffering because of sleep deprivation. When I drove down to Mayo to meet with the surgeon I accidently drove down the exit ramp of a 4 way. I caught it long before I reached the bottom but a cop stopped me after I corrected my mistake so there should be a police report.
