Yes, my ops is only doing the lower jaw advancement,
coupled with genioplasty. This was because my ENT doc has
attributed my OSA problem was due to a large tongue and a
relatively small jaw.

As such, after various follow-up and 3D x-ray, the best option
for me was doing the lower jaw advancement to open my
airway from the base of my tongue.

I can't recalled my pre- surgical AHI - I know I am consider a
moderate case so it should be around 25 region. I will check
on my AHI reading in my next visit.

I guess for me the reason why I decided to go for this MMA
was the notion of using the CPAP for the rest of my life that
push me to go for a permanent cure. While I know even with
this MMA ops, success is not 100%, I was willing to try doing
something.

Finally, on the question if I would go for MMA instead of
UPPP, the truth is that I was a bit ignorance at that time. The
UPPP then was diagnosed to treat my loud snorning problem.
At that time, I did not go for a sleep test and was never
considered an OSA patient.
