RA, He had little or no experience, he was a TMJ doctor who I think was 'testing the waters' doing apnea surgery. The country is now full of oral surgeons now offering MMA.

I saw a post by Dr. Li in Palo Alto regarding measurement of advancement, if I read it correctly he said that measuring soft tissue advancement was unreliable, and that bone advancement was a better gauge.

Glad to hear your surgery was effective. Do you know how was your own post-op advancement was measured?
