There was a fellow on here that had posted over a year ago that was ready to eat a bullitt over dryness from UPPP. I wonder what hapened to him. It has been proven from a surgeon that was brave enough to post re UPPP, that the procedure was no properly studied in follow-ups. The big story...it actually worsened apna over time! I have dryness from it and cant pronounce some arabic like sounds , and had absolutely NO difference in sleep. I also catch every cold that exists...about 4 a year , despite not leaving house much and being a clean freak about touching. This cant be helped by the fact that UPPP cooks out some of the needed mucous membrane that god gave us. Thanks god i didnt go back for the 2nd step that the Dr recommended! This procedure needs to be re-evaluated!!! I guess FDA is too busy regulating (tying up)life saving cancer drugs. BTW- I actually recently met an Arabic man who was hugely upset over his lack of ability to produce the strong sounds required for that language. Of course he never knew that was coming!! Gotta read the disclaimer front to back!
