I had been scheduled for the surgery on May 16, I arrived in Palo Alto on the 15th and my surgeon told me he might open and close me up without doing any MMA. That scared me enough to cancel on the eve of the surgery.

Fortunately a few well known guardian angels swooped in to help me out and I had the surgery 3 days ago. They did a great job and today I feel really good.

I think I also need to write a blog from The Dark Side which is what failed MMA feels like.
