Wow, thats amazingly fast how quick they did a resurgery. Will be wanting to hear the results.
I saw DR PW at UAB and he denied me another surgery after prevously wanting to do it. Three other sleep studies had RDI's of 18 and the latest one he ordered had low RDI. That latest study was spent mostly awake, and i was amazed they didntthrow it out. I had this happen before where i couldnt go to sleep during a study and the Dr knew it himself and threw it out. Then i go home absolutely exhausted proving i virtually havent slept at all. I reminded him that i had an MRI that he had ordered, so he got it to come up on the computer and he looked at it for 25 seconds, took a cell fone call and said i did have a small airway, etc and that he would refer me to an ENT...for what, I dont know and he didnt explain or worry with any more questions i had. If I have such a good sleep study, why can i get 71 blood oxygen saturation on my home monitor when im in my own bed!!! Why do i only sleep on my side! Doesnt matter to them. What in the world is an ENT going to do but take my money!
So in a 14 minute office visit, not counting the cell fone time, I get to see my life course set. As mentioned my wife of 16 years left me, so i will not have insurance, so at least I wont have to worry with them anymore.
