Arctic-Thanks alot re the disability info. I also have dry eye syndrome and there are many days that i cant wear a contact. So just wear glasses, right. nope. I have anisomatropia. This means that my eyes are so far apart in their power that glasses just make the eyes cross. What caused this? I was an early Excimer laser trial participant in 1993. I blinked on the table during the procedure and that gave me a positive diopter (far sightedness) and astigmatism in that eye. But the other eye (non lasered) is a strong minus diopter (near sighted). So with age and lack of sleep, ive just about lost my ability to wear the contact. So i need to see if that qualifies also. It should, i cant drive w/o contact. Ive also heard that it is ok to make a certain amount of money.
