Oh yes, Ive been aware of that concept for awhile. Thats why I say that there should be a protocol that includes these procedures. Perhaps my answer lies in the fact that these procedures arent in the Stanford protocol. Im very spooked that there is no-one on here that has had any of this done for OSA. I tried to find a Dr rating site that had something about him, but no luck. I had seen a site that gave bad ratings to the surgeon that did my botched MMA, but couldnt find it anymore. That, or the info has been wiped off.
I wont be able handle anymore bad results...Ive been telling freinds that I think i may have wondered into a trap. That there is 0 info regarding these procedures on adults for OSA. The only articles regarding the procedure are on infants that have "failure to thrive" and stridor. The procedure(s) seem simple, especially when compared to an MMA redo. The docs should be able to settle on which surg would be best. As ive previously mentioned, Ive got a surgeon willing to do an MMA redo, but I just dont think Ill ever get up enough gump to carry thru as itll take my savings away, It may take out my voice totally, and now I have no-one to be there post-op. Plus, it may not work anyway. I am about 50/50 and feel like im walking blind.
