I don't know about these specific procedures but it sounds like you have someone who is on top of it.

I don't think the case can be made for treatment bias here since these procedures seem fairly new.

Personally, I wouldn't worry one bit about a voice change, with all you've been through. Especially since you already have a deepish voice.

No, we do NOT want a single protocol that every Dr is forced to follow. We need smart Drs that can, and are allowed to, think outside the box. That's the only way our difficult cases get solved. Everyone learns from that.
