Yes, there is a lot of treatment bias in this game.

It's not unreasonable to do the protocol from non-invasive towards invasive but for a lot of people (me included) it was a wasted and I would have benefited from going straight to MMA like many others.

My experience is like yours. There are several ENTs out there that thought I was mentally unstable for even considering MMA.
And there were plenty of CPAP pushers who thought I was crazy for having ANY surgery at all.

In the end, you have to make the decision. All we can do is the best we can do.
