Why is this a problem. Just go to a different doctor. If the Ins. co. won't allow it, go anyway, pay the bill, and when it comes back that the ins. co.'s doc was wrong, shove it down their throats. You will get reimbursed. You are looking at $200 to $3000. You do this by calling an acredited sleep clinic, and when they ask about insurance, tell them you have none. Then ask for a payment plan, or their best price for cash. Many of these clinics are in major hospitals. They all have policies of not denying care on ability to pay. It is a battle you shouldn't have to fight, but a small price to pay to get proper treatment. Be sure to point out how much suffering you have had to endure as a result of their doc's incompetance, and how much it has cost in useless treatment. Do it right, and it is all over an done with in 4 to 6 weeks.
