Follow-up sleep study not done after uppp?

Posted by Shaun on January 19, 2001 at 12:00:51:

I had uppp on Nov.9. My snoring is gone and I am waking up less tired and feeling less tired during the day. I have two young kids so there are other possible reasons for feeling tired. When I went to the follow-up visit to the doctor, he told me he was not recommending a follow-up sleep study and that I was "cured." His words. Overall, I am happy with the improvement, but I would like to know for sure if I am "cured." Isn't it normal to have a follow-up sleep study after uppp surgery?
