Posted by Tracey on January 20, 2001 at 15:49:57:UP3, tonsilectomy and septoplasty are scheduled for Thursday. I have been reading every possible thing I can on these procedures (this forum has been a god-send!) However, I was just informed by my boss that I am expected back to work on the 5th of February--barely 10 days post-op. I am an accountant, so you guessed it, this is our busy season. However, I am afraid I will not be able to comply. I am getting serious pressure over this, and to be honest, on top of the jitters over the surgery, 2 small children who are still going to need "mommy" and the fact that my apnea episodes and snoring have INCREASES dramatically over the past month, I am about at my wits end. Can anyone give me some advice? Is it possible that I will indeed be able to return to work as my boss is demanding? I would appreciate any and all responses.
