Tracey,

I just had the same surgeries on Dec. 27, and for me after 10 days there was no way I could have done any job. It was a full 2 weeks before I felt like doing anything, and even then, I was so exhausted from the surgery that I couldn't do anything for long. I would really try to get at least 17 or 18 days off. But I have read other peoples stories that say they are up and going after about 3 or 4 days. But I can't see how that is possible myself. I hope you do well. Believe me it was worth it for me. I have so much more energy already, I can even stay up til 11 at night now, where as I was usually asleep by 8 at the latest. Good luck, and remember, take pain meds on time or a little before.

Terry
