10 days is not enough time IMO, especially with a "Big 3" combination. With just the UPPP alone, you'll STILL be cutting it at 10 days. You're talking 2 weeks to get back to feeling 75% O.K. with just the UPPP. (If you'll go back and read the posts in this forum regarding combining these surgeries, I think you'd change your mind. With the septoplasty you literally CAN'T breath thru the nose for several days because you have tons of gauze up your nose, so you have to breath thru the mouth. BUT you DON'T F-E-E-L like breathing thru the mouth because of the UPPP and because of the pain and sensitivity. If at all possible, I'd split these up, maybe just do the septoplasty this time, and then UPPP w/ the tonsillectomy another time. OR take at least 2 weeks off if you absolutely have to do them all together.).
