Well My company is called Principal Life Insurance. It's coverage through my employer. I have been told that the only way I could get it covered for the Doctors at Stanford, is that no other doctor in my program within 60 miles of me can perform the surgery. That's why I.m having phase 1 done locally and then off to Stanford. I have talked to my insurance company and they do cover the Maxillomandibular Advancment, but of course they can't promise anything over the phone. I think it really depaends on how life threatning your problem is. but also over the years with other companys if you raise a little hell and get you doctor behind you, you can get these insurance companys to help. Just remember the squeeky wheel gets the grease!
And e-gad! it's only two days now! To phase 1
