I could never get anything done because I was always so sleepy. I couldn't concentrate, I certainly couldn't stay awake for an entire movie, and meetings at work were an agonizing experiement in how much soda, chocolate, and donuts it took to keep me awake THIS time. My friends missed me because I'd come home from work, eat something, and then go to bed at around 8:00 only to awaken at 8:00 the next morning feeling like I hadn't slept at all. I think the toilet paper manufacturers of America love me since I get up so many times to go to the bathroom.
:)

I don't think you're a nut job at all! If I could, I'd get a trach put in to be ABLE to get that much done! :) But think of it this way--you may be losing 5 hours a day of productivity, but with the sleep you'll be getting, you'll add 20 more years onto your life. Now you'll have to learn to pace yourself :).

Good luck with your trach.

Shelby
