Just saw the show. It was an episode from one of their popular TV series, "The Operation". The program featured around a teenage girl who went in for jaw reconstruction (orthognathic surgery) for cosmetic reasons and wasn't for sleep apnea. But it was still pretty interesting to see how the MMA surgery was done.
I know this is all relative, but compared to alot of the other surgical procedures I've seen on this TV series, the MMA didn't seem like such a big deal. So in some regards it's encouraging to know this if you're considering having a MMA done. (www.health.discovery.com/schedule/schedule.jsp?date=today&channel=DHC)
