I went all through forum 58 looking for your posting there to see what answers they had given you, but I couldn't find it. If you are unsure about the surgery, go back to the other forum & ask for help with your CPAP. They're really helpful over there & there are answers for mask leaks, mouth breathing, gas(known as aerophagia)& just about any other problem you can think of. If CPAP really doesn't work for you, then consider surgery. One week really isn't enough time to get used to CPAP. God bless & good sleep. Delana
