Let me elaborate. Also, If you wish there were some posts on this subject about a dozen forums ago.
Once upon a time about a year ago, when nothing was working for me, I made the rounds of everybody I could think of in one of the medical capitols of the world. Among other people, I saw a dentist who specialized in dental appliances for the treatment of sleep apnea, and did nothing else. This is where I first heard that the dental device is such an indicator of surgical success. I was astonished, and did not believe it. After all, who would possibly subject themselves to such an involved and irreversable procedure as an MMA without some assurances, and what doctor would allow that.
So, when I saw the next three surgical specialists, a tongue suspension guy, hyoid guy, somno, and trache guy, I confronted them about it. None of them disagreed. So I posted it here. Others seemed to reinforce this.
I am thrilled for you, but it seems that you are the exception.
