Ok, so maybe it's not a UPPP. I haven't gotten very far with this. The sleep clinic told me they would refer me to drs and I haven't seen them yet. The sleep clinic said the procedure they're recommending is done under a local--he said it's done with a laser or microwaves and it "shaves' not really cuts the uvula and sort of shreads it so it shrinks up. (How's that for technical jargon?) This is just for snoring from a very long uvula, not apnea. (I hate to appear so dumb!!) Thanks for any help!
