Thanks for the best of luck. I am not really worried about the surgery, but more about the recovery. I asked the Doctor if he would be able to show me what to expect after the surgery and he is supposed to manipulate my photo on the computer and show me.

The only horror story that I have heard of so far is the one with Cathy needing a Trach tube. I hope that will not happen with as small as my airway is. That is one thing I don't think that I will pass on to my family. They are all worried enough as it is.

I wish you the best of luck in deciding to perform this surgery. It took me over 6 years to get here and it is really my last straw. I am mentally drained from this condition.
