I had the same surgery 2 weeks ago. I didn't get any sleep for the first 10 days because of the pain. Don't suffer-- use your pain meds. Many doctors don't like to give pain meds for a very long time. They are inhumane. Don't worry about getting addicted, you won't be on them that long.I really didn't have an appetite for the first 10 days either. Now my appetite is back in full force. Good luck.
