I am so glad to hear from you. I have been watching the board like a mother hen, praying you made it thru your ordeal physcially and mentally. You sound great. Enjoy that mushed food, don't worry I didn't lose any weight either-and I could or needed to drop some pounds too. Most important is your nutrition and statima.
I remember answering some of your questions over a year ago and that you were following my recovery with GA and UPPP w/flap at Stanford with Dr. Li. I'm glad to see even after everything you went thru that you thought Stanford nursing staff and Dr. Li were great. I know that Dr. Li made me feel at ease and that he was extensively competent. I had called him late, late one night when I was having trouble. I remember telling him after I went in for my follow up visits that I was giving him good press on this board. He definitely showed that with his expertise with you and your situation.
Keep us posted on how you are doing. Take care.
