Septoplasty effective?

Posted by Jiles on May 28, 2001 at 12:31:04:

I had a CPAP Titration last week and it was a disaster! My face felt like I been in a 10 round bout with Mike Tyson! My ENT said I have a deviated septom. I had it repaired about 11 years ago, while it was not pleasant, after a couple of days on ice and Vicodin, it healed uo nicely. I'd be willing to do it again as the CPAP will be a major strugle for me. I'm reluctant to undergo elective surgery unless the odds are in my favor that this will eliminate my mild OSA, and get rid of my debilitating fatigue and dizziness. Any thoughts?
