I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to hook up. :( But I'm glad to see that you're back on the computer and you sound like you're in good spirits.

You may still need some post-surgery counseling though :). The surgical procedure itself is very stressful, not to mention being far from home, and the complication. You've been through a major shock! So if you start to feel blue, don't discount your experiences. When I had the hemorhagging from my surgery, I kept "reliving" the incident for several weeks and found out later that it was a form of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Anyway, I'm very glad to hear that you're comfortably at home and able to breathe well through the trach. Take it easy through your recovery, and soon you'll be sleeping like never before! :)
