Congrats on your husbands recovery. I went through the UPPP, Tonsilectomy/adenoidectomy and septoplasty on June 15. The Septoplasty was the least of the pain for me. The throat was the by far the worst pain I ever encountered. However I do think that if major swelling occured breathing problems may have developed with both the nose and throat swollen. I have now passed the 4 week point and my throat is basically all healed. my nose still is a bit stuffy with some post surgery junk but other than that I feel better than new! The apnea is gone and I don't snore. I am dreaming again (all night) and awake refreshed. It sure was worth the pain to gain my life back.
I sure hope your husband is cured too. It sure would suck to suffer this much pain to not cure the apnea. Cheers
