I am not using any machine right now to aid in breathing at night. I believe this surgery has helped but it is to early to tell because it is only one week after surgery. But my first indication that I am somewhat cured is that I am finally starting to have dreams again. My RDI was 87. I do feel more rested when I wake up but still tired from surgery. I can tell you one thing you will get tired of the liquid diet real quick. I have found that you get real sick of sweet drinks so it might be a good idea to start looking for recipes that aren't sweet. My wife made a roast with potatoes and carrots the other night...I blended it up but just could not stomach the look of it. Of course some of my lack of eating is coming from the medicines that I am on. If you have any questions about the surgery feel free to ask. I will not hesitate to tell you all the details.
