still tired after GGA, HS, LT surgery, suggestions

okay guys, i'm frustrated! i have had surgery 4 weeks ago. had genioglossus tongue advancement, hyoid suspension, and lingual tonsillectomy done. surgery was a sucess. all was fine. at the one week post-op doctor was confident that this would "fix it", and the swelling looked fine, so that's not the problem. i go back for the one month post-op next week (23rd). but i can't understand why i am still not feeling a whole lot better. some days i do really really good. others, i'm exhausted just like i used to be. i slept last night for 12 hours straight!!!!!! i cannont continue to live my life like this!!
anyway, my question is, has anyone else had problems even after surgery? will this just take time to heal and feel better? is there anything else i could do to help this process?
if you have any suggestions, i'd love to hear it. thanks a lot!!
shelley :)
