mma in December

Getting braces on Monday the 8th of October. Getting prepared for MMA in December. Already have had UPPP and deviated septum fixed. I have been using CPAP for a year and a half and am at the point that I am ready to throw it away. I'm thirty four years old and am having Dr. Reily perform the surgery.
Can anyone give advice as I prepare for this.
