Spouse of a snorer!! HELP!!

Posted by Elaine on October 11, 2001 at 11:32:38:

I am so glad I found this site. I am married to someone that snores. He has started to be much worse lately, and I am desperate. He would stop breathing and then start again, but he seems to have started to do it all the time now.

I have to wake him up every night, at least 3 times, and make him lay on his side. Neither one of us get much sleep, and we both have jobs where we have to get up at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m.

I'm on the verge of finding a new place to sleep (couch), but I don't want to do that. I've tried to talk to him about this, but he doesn't seem to take me seriously. He has to drive 2 hours a day from our home to work, and I'm so frightened that he'll have an accident, I don't know what to do. He just won't seem to listen!!!

We have 3 children, and it's getting hard on all of us. I'm grouchy (no sleep), dad's grouchy (no sleep), and our poor kids, have to deal with us.

Please give me some advice
Elaine
